About the Author

Connie Beck, M.P.Ed, B.Sc., R.Ph.T. is the coordinator and professor of the Pharmacy Technician Program at Lambton College in Sarnia, ON.  She has worked in pharmacy for 24 years and in several post-secondary institutions over the past 17 years including Sheridan College and Niagara College. Connie has a wide range of experience in pharmacy including community pharmacy, non-sterile compounding, and long-term care pharmacy and has served on the Ontario Pharmacists Association Board of Directors and has sat on various other boards, committees, and working groups related to pharmacy practice in Ontario and Canada.
