E-Learning

Northrose eLearning is an online study platform designed to complement your assigned textbook. It provides a range of practice and review tools, including additional tasks, flashcards, quizzes, chapter summaries, downloadable material and links to supplementary online resources for Northrose Titles* These tools are tailored to reinforce students understanding of the course material and they vary by book.

*Northrose eLearning currently supports the following titles:

  • Administrative Assistant: Simulated Projects, Third Edition
  • Canadian Medical Transcription, Second Edition
  • Child and Youth Care in Canada: A Practical Guide
  • Community Pharmacy in Canada: Fundamentals for Technicians and Assistants

eBooks are available for all Northrose titles and are purchased separately. eBooks are not included in eLearning.

The materials available on Northrose eLearning can be assigned as part of a student’s homework or as a component of their final grade. Additionally, the platform’s resources can also be used independently through the Self-Study feature, allowing students to thoroughly prepare for in-class quizzes and   assignments at their own pace. This flexibility supports a student’s academic performance by enabling them to deepen their comprehension and retention of the subject matter.

User manuals are available for both students and instructors to facilitate effective navigation and utilization of Northrose eLearning's features. These guides provide comprehensive instructions and tips, ensuring that users can maximize their experience on the platform.
