Lynn Berry has over 35 years of experience as a professor and coordinator with Algonquin College. She is the co-author of Legal Transcription in Canada, Medical Office Billing, Medical Office Administration: Simulated Projects, Administrative Assistant: Simulated Projects, and Canadian Medical Transcription. Lynn was instrumental in the development of the Health Services Diploma program at Algonquin College and is passionate about curriculum and career development.

Deborah Janssens is a professor of medical transcription at Algonquin College. Deborah is a trained medical transcriptionist with vast experience keying and editing many report types across all medical specialties, from critical care to outpatient clinics. Deborah has always shown a passion for health and continues to learn and remain current in the healthcare field.

Eugenia Kanellakos is a graduate of the Health Record Administration diploma program at Algonquin College and has over 35 years’ experience in a variety of healthcare settings including medical transcriptionist, health record auditor of family physician practices, abstractor for research studies, and corporate manager of health records at The Ottawa Hospital.  Eugenia has spent 15 years as a professor with Algonquin College and is zealous about sharing her knowledge of quality healthcare documentation in a patient’s journey.

Kathy Weatherdon has been a medical transcriptionist (MT) for over 40 years, which has led to various MT related work experiences, including clinical trials manager, medical transcription unit supervisor, and MT teacher/college professor. Kathy has owned and operated several medical transcription services – Meditext, Canadian MT Solutions Inc. (co-owner), and kwtranscription.
